Connect your social media accounts to 3L3C and launch campaigns across multiple platforms from one dashboard.

Supported Platforms

3L3C integrates with all major social media platforms:

  • LinkedIn - B2B advertising and professional networking
  • Facebook - Largest social network for B2C and B2B
  • Instagram - Visual content and influencer marketing
  • Twitter/X - Real-time engagement and trending topics
  • Threads - Text-based conversations and community building
  • TikTok - Short-form video for younger demographics
  • Pinterest - Visual discovery and shopping

Connecting Your Accounts

LinkedIn Integration

Requirements:

  • LinkedIn Company Page (personal profiles cannot run ads)
  • Admin access to the page
  • Active payment method on LinkedIn

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect LinkedIn
  2. Click "Authorize 3L3C"
  3. Log in to LinkedIn if not already logged in
  4. Select the Company Page you want to connect
  5. Grant permissions:
    • Read basic profile information
    • Manage advertising campaigns
    • Access campaign analytics
  6. Click "Allow"
  7. Confirm connection in 3L3C

Permissions Granted:

  • Create and manage ad campaigns
  • Access campaign performance data
  • Manage campaign budgets
  • View audience insights

Facebook & Instagram Integration

Requirements:

  • Facebook Business Page
  • Admin access to the page
  • Instagram Business Account (for Instagram ads)
  • Facebook Ad Account

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect Facebook
  2. Click "Log in with Facebook"
  3. Select the Facebook Page and Ad Account
  4. If using Instagram, link your Instagram Business Account
  5. Grant permissions:
    • Manage pages and ads
    • Access Insights
    • Manage Instagram account
  6. Click "Continue"
  7. Verify connection in 3L3C dashboard

What Gets Connected:

  • Facebook Business Page
  • Facebook Ad Account
  • Instagram Business Account (optional)
  • Facebook Pixel (auto-detected)

Twitter/X Integration

Requirements:

  • Twitter/X account with ads eligibility
  • Verified email address
  • Active payment method

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect Twitter
  2. Click "Authorize App"
  3. Log in to Twitter/X
  4. Review permissions requested
  5. Click "Authorize app"
  6. Return to 3L3C to confirm

Permissions:

  • Create and manage Promoted Tweets
  • Access analytics
  • Manage campaign targeting
  • View account information

Threads Integration

Requirements:

  • Instagram account (Threads uses Instagram login)
  • Threads profile activated
  • Business or Creator account recommended

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect Threads
  2. Click "Connect via Instagram"
  3. Log in to Instagram (if not already logged in)
  4. Authorize 3L3C to access your Threads account
  5. Grant permissions:
    • Post content to Threads
    • Access account analytics
    • Manage replies and interactions
  6. Click "Authorize"
  7. Confirm connection in 3L3C

Features:

  • Post text threads up to 500 characters
  • Share images and videos
  • Cross-post from other platforms
  • Track engagement metrics
  • Schedule posts in advance

Note: Threads currently doesn't support paid advertising, but organic content performs well for community engagement.

TikTok For Business Integration

Requirements:

  • TikTok Business Account
  • Completed business verification
  • Ad account setup

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect TikTok
  2. Click "Connect TikTok For Business"
  3. Log in to TikTok For Business
  4. Select your Ad Account
  5. Grant access to:
    • Create ad campaigns
    • Manage creatives
    • Access performance data
  6. Confirm connection

Pinterest Business Integration

Requirements:

  • Pinterest Business Account
  • Verified website (optional but recommended)
  • Active Pinterest tag (for conversion tracking)

Connection Steps:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsConnect Pinterest
  2. Click "Continue with Pinterest"
  3. Log in to Pinterest
  4. Select your Business Account
  5. Grant permissions for:
    • Create and manage ads
    • Access analytics
    • Manage catalogs
  6. Complete connection

Managing Connected Accounts

View Connected Platforms

Dashboard → Integrations shows:

  • Connected platforms (green checkmark)
  • ⚠️ Needs re-authorization (yellow warning)
  • Disconnected (red x)

Account Information

For each connected platform, view:

  • Account name and ID
  • Connection date
  • Last sync time
  • Active campaigns count
  • Total spend (lifetime)

Re-Authorization

If connection expires or permissions change:

  1. Click "Re-authorize" next to the platform
  2. Log in again to the platform
  3. Grant updated permissions
  4. Confirm reconnection

Disconnecting Accounts

To disconnect a platform:

  1. Go to connected account
  2. Click "Disconnect"
  3. Confirm disconnection
    • Warning: Active campaigns will be paused
    • Note: Historical data will be preserved
  4. Platform is now disconnected

Multi-Platform Campaigns

Cross-Platform Publishing

Create one campaign, publish everywhere:

  1. Create Campaign → Select "Multi-Platform"
  2. Choose Platforms: Select 2 or more platforms
  3. Create Content:
    • Upload images/videos
    • Write copy (auto-optimized per platform)
    • Set targeting (unified or platform-specific)
  4. Set Budget: Allocate budget per platform or auto-distribute
  5. Launch: All platforms go live simultaneously

Platform-Specific Customization

Customize for each platform:

Creative Variations:

  • LinkedIn: Professional tone, 1200x627 images
  • Instagram: Square 1080x1080, vertical 1080x1920 (Stories)
  • Facebook: 1200x628 link posts, videos up to 240 min
  • Twitter/X: 1200x675, GIFs, max 280 characters
  • Threads: Text up to 500 chars, images, short videos
  • TikTok: Vertical 9:16, 5-60 seconds
  • Pinterest: Vertical 2:3 ratio, 1000x1500

Targeting Options:

  • LinkedIn: Job title, company size, industry
  • Facebook/Instagram: Demographics, interests, behaviors
  • Twitter/X: Keywords, followers, interests
  • Threads: Organic reach only (no paid targeting yet)
  • TikTok: Age, gender, interests, hashtags

  • Auto-detected when connecting Facebook

Event Setup

Common events to track:

API Limits & Rate Limits

Platform Quotas

Each platform has API limits:

LinkedIn:

  • 100 campaigns per ad account
  • 20 campaign edits per hour
  • 1,000 API calls per day

Facebook:

  • 5,000 ad sets per campaign
  • 5,000 ads per ad set
  • Rate limit: 200 calls per hour

Twitter:

  • 400 tweets per day (promoted)
  • Rate limit: 900 requests per 15 minutes

TikTok:

  • 999 campaigns per ad account
  • API limit: 10,000 calls per day

Pinterest:

  • 10,000 promoted pins per ad account
  • Rate limit: 1,000 requests per hour

Best Practices

  • Batch operations: Update multiple campaigns at once
  • Schedule changes: Use 3L3C's scheduler to avoid rate limits
  • Monitor usage: 3L3C dashboard shows API usage per platform

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

Issue: "Unable to connect to [Platform]"

Solutions:

  1. Clear browser cache and cookies
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Ensure you have admin access to the account
  4. Check platform status page for outages
  5. Verify payment method is active

Permission Errors

Issue: "Insufficient permissions to create campaigns"

Fix:

  1. Disconnect and reconnect the account
  2. Grant all requested permissions
  3. Verify account role is Admin or Editor
  4. Check if account is restricted by platform

Data Sync Issues

Issue: "Analytics not updating"

Troubleshooting:

  • Check last sync time (should be < 1 hour)
  • Click "Force Sync" to manually refresh
  • Verify connection status is green
  • Platform APIs may have delays (up to 24 hours for complete data)

Budget Discrepancies

Issue: "Spend doesn't match platform dashboard"

Reasons:

  • Timezone differences between 3L3C and platform
  • Currency conversion rates (if applicable)
  • Platform reporting delays
  • Different attribution windows

Resolution:

  • Align timezone settings in both platforms
  • Use same attribution model
  • Wait 24-48 hours for data to finalize

Data Protection

3L3C follows strict security practices:

  • OAuth 2.0: Secure authorization without sharing passwords
  • Encrypted storage: All tokens encrypted at rest
  • Auto-expiration: Tokens refresh automatically
  • Audit logs: Track all account access

Permissions Review

Regularly review connected permissions:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Click "View Permissions" for each platform
  3. Review granted access
  4. Revoke unnecessary permissions
  5. Update as needed
